At the age of 33, Eiji Kawamura met a master chef of Guangdong (Cantonese) cuisine and was deeply impressed by the flavors he created. Since that day Eiji has charted a course as a private chef, interpreting Guangdong cuisine for Japanese diners.

Eiji is no ordinary chef, having started his career as a chef of French cuisine. That tutelage is at play in the dishes he creates, using lashings of ingredients from Kyoto of all types and colors. To appeal to patrons of all ages, Eiji serves up mild, lightly seasoned offerings based on a slightly salty taste. Enjoy the true pleasure of Guangdong cuisine in an elegant setting.
